It's no secret that Straight Pool is my all-time fave. However, the other day, there were no tables open so I jumped on with my friend Monte. Well, I did it. I managed to pull it off somehow. I'm still basking in the glory of my hard-earned victory from this weekend. Though I'm still in a bit of shock, it came at a time just when I needed it. Just as I've been feeling a bit down and out about competing and the point of it all, I proved to myself this weekend that even though I didn't play perfect, I'm a fighter and I never once gave up. Oh, and getting a little lucky didn't hurt either.
