On the Road Again
We arrived last night in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2010 BCAPL Nationals, narrowly dodging the storm we were told was coming in through the mountains. In fact, the roads were clean as a whistle.
We made pretty decent time (minus Mike’s 8 pitstops – to my one – and my unexpected bloody nose that made us leave the house 20 minutes late):

Aurora to Las Vegas
I rarely eat fast food but yesterday, we managed to hit both of my ‘favorite’ FF joints with Frank.
And the Action Begins!
The pro-am 9-ball event kicked off today with 248 players. They had a few technical hiccups this morning which made some of the matches slightly chaotic. In the midst of all of that, the change machine was not working properly. I’m just thankful I got my tokens before that happened.
I FINALLY broke in a well-needed new piece of chalk this morning!
Unfortunately, none of it helped. I was unable to defend my top-finishing-lady title from last year. I had a couple rough matches. Oh well. I can’t complain too much about how I played overall.
I’ll be taking more photos with Frank again for another photo contest.
Now I’m working, hanging out with the Matchroom Pool crew. Don’t forget to check out the World Pool Masters live scoring on AzB.
