I proudly announce that it’s April 23rd and I have successfully accomplished one of my top ten goals for 2010!
- Do more writing, specifically at least one new article and two blog posts per week
- Select a regional tour to play on and hit every stop
- Get a new racket and play at least 3 days a week of tennis this summer
- Finally watch Young Frankenstein in its entirety
- Run 50+ balls in 14.1 (will continue to work on this one)
- Break a 100 handicap in the M8 Pool League
- Run a 5 in 3-cushion billiards (current high run = 3)
- Play 2 hours of one-pocket each month (as per the BC)
- Run 75+ balls in 14.1 via scotch doubles with Mike
- Teach more, and better (create more handouts for students and utilize new PD sponsored products)
I first joined the advanced division of the very awesome M8 Pool League of Minnesota in November 7, 2007 where I started as a 75 and played only 9-ball. In March of 2009, I bounced between a couple teams in the masters league playing 8-ball.
Since November of 2007, I have played 40 matches and my current ranking is now 101! WOOHOO!!!
I just called the lovely Nine from the M8 office to confirm all my stats and she also informed me that I am currently the only lady player ranked 100+ in the masters league. 125 is the max. I’m a 101 in the masters and advanced divisions and a 125 in the open division. SWEET!
I love the fact that I’ve had the chance to play with such strong players and all on Diamond Smart Tables. Here are the stats from this week that Mike scanned and emailed me. He had all our teammates sign it. Awww… I’m also currently 5-0. Darn it! I wish I could’ve finished out the season!
I did run a 42 this weekend. Almost, but not quite. I will continue to work on the other nine.

“Finally watch Young Frankenstein in its entirety”. WTH Samm??? I freaking die every time I watch the Putting on the Ritz scene.
