While I was in NYC last week, Jim Murnak invited to do an interview with him for his new pool magazine site, Go4Pool.net
I was quite honored and when it finally came time, I was VERY nervous. I’m usually the one asking the questions and doing the interviewing. It was so nerve-racking having the questions directed at me. Jim does an amazing job with his interviews. They are all first class and he is a really great guy!
If you have yet to check out the site, make sure you do. He has so many fantastic interviews with so many great players. Some of my favorites from the site are Mika, Jose, Tony, Jennifer, Marc, and Marlon. I hardly feel worthy to share the page with them. He also has live streaming from Amsterdam Billiards, Master Billiards, and Raxx Poolroom. That’s pretty sweet! I played on that streaming table at Amsterdam!
Here are a couple corrections from my ramblings:
I worked with AZ & Accu-stats at the recent Derby, not US Open.
What’s in the Case? interviews were with InsidePool, not AzBilliards
Where’s the teleprompter when you need one?
Enjoy:

What a great interview, Samm! All your warmth and friendliness came out and it was a pleasure to listen to. So what was it like on the other side? Will your experience affect the way you interview others?
Jim is a talented interviewer, putting his subjects at ease.
I really like these videos. So warm and personal, open, no agenda. Great. So far I watched yours, Gail’s and Borana’s. (I only watched part of Mika’s long video; I might watch the rest later.)
