The Brunswick Junior Cue

Here’s a clever little invention from Brunswick called the Junior Cue. We discovered it this weekend while visiting our friends at Peters Billiards. Mike decided it would be a great teaching aid in his clinics to demonstrate “center ball.”

Instead of a pool tip, there’s a cue ball attached to the end of this thing. I could see this being a great little beginner tool for the little ones. In a way, it actually encourages good follow-through because the ball on end is too heavy for you to drop your elbow and lift your tip up.

Product description from Brunswick site:

Help young beginners have fun and gain confidence while they learn the game. This unique, one-piece, 38″ junior cue features an attached cue ball, so even first-timers can succeed. Perfectly scaled and built with the same high quality materials and craftsmanship as our standard cues.

As we were leaving, I couldn’t help but notice the temperature display in the truck.

What is it about freezing weather that makes things shrink?

Well, not everything.

Stay warm!
