I stumbled across this the other day. What the??? Is it a couch? Is it a pool table?
This gives a whole new meaning to, “No sitting on the pool table!”
It looks a little high for me personally. I also wonder how level it is after you have people sitting on it all day. I think someone was actually trying to sell this thing at a garage sale. I’m curious to know what possesses someone to build a contraption like this.

I know Aramith came out with this thing a couple years ago but this thing is actually sleek and makes some sense to me.

Yikes! It seems that when designers try to make two things into one they make both things worse! This looks like a poor pool table and an uncomfortable couch.
I agree with Fast Mikie — probably an uncomfortable couch and a bad quality snooker table (tough to keep level and cheap rails).
