You’ve been hearing about it, now I’m bringin’ it!
6 Pocket is a wonderful new game & pool league that has been spreading like wild fire across the country. Try it once and you’ll understand why.
“It’s simple but it’s not easy,” says Sam Goodrich Director & Co-Founder of 6 Pocket.
To Get Started:
- Play with as many people as you’d like
- Rack all 15 balls and use an open break
- Pocket as many balls as possible in no particular order (calling pocket) until you either miss and/or scratch, or pocket all 15 balls
- Every inning starts over with a fresh rack
- Each ball pocketed = 1 point, Max points per rack = 15 points
- Play 10 (or whatever predetermined number of) racks, Max points after 10 racks = 150 points
- Scratch =-1 point, pocketed ball(s) does not get counted, and your turn is over
- Scratch on the Break = -1 point and pocketed ball(s) get spotted
- In the event you do not have a good opening shot after the break, you can opt to start with a -1 and take cue ball-in-hand in the kitchen

On Thursday, October 8 from 7 to 10p.m., I will be hosting a 6 Pocket Open House / Special Pool Clinic with good friend and preeminent instructor in the area, Tom Ross. The clinic will be held at the Skylark Lounge in Downtown Denver. He and I will be introducing the game to players and answering questions. We hope you can join us.
See what others are saying about it:
