“THE RACK” is a collection of sixteen paintings representing each of the balls used in the game of pocket billiards — commonly known as pool. Each painting is unique according to its color, number, stripe or solid and draws upon the history of art and the game of pool. Each canvas is also proportional to a billiard table. The collection is on permanent display at Fargo Billiards & Gastropub in Fargo, North Dakota.
Kimble A. Bromley, artist, hypnotist and art professor paints a variety of subjects – including billiard balls. Bromley was commissioned to paint a series of paintings for Fargo Billiards and Gastropub as well as a mural for Billiards on Broadway in Fargo, ND.
Bromley offers a unique approach to the creative process. As a certified hypnotherapist, Bromley offers a creativity enhancement workshop, hypnotizing others to be at their creative best. Bromley has worked with artists, actors and creative writers.
Bromley has traveled as a visiting artist throughout the upper Midwest, Ecuador, Mexico and Cuba. He exhibits his work nationally.
He is also an avid pool player.
