If you saw yesterday’s press release then you may have heard by now, I am officially the newest member of Team Tiger.
“What does this mean?” you’re wondering.
Well, I got pretty lucky with my very first sponsor. About five years ago, Chris Byrne approached me to play with his custom cue just as I was about to pull the trigger on a Schuler. I accepted and completely lucked out on that one. His cues hit so amazingly! The balance is perfect, his work is gorgeous, and his prices are VERY reasonable! Even if I wasn’t fortunate enough to have him build cues for me, I would STILL be shooting with a CB custom cue and that’s a fact!
First, and foremost, I want to mention that I have NEVER and would NEVER promote anything that I don’t believe in. Corey Harper approached me months ago about joining the Tiger team. Reluctantly, I said, “I already have a cue sponsor. Besides, I’ve never tried any of your products and don’t even know how they play.” About a month ago, I received a Tiger care package in the mail and among the items was the Tiger ICEBREAKER Break/Jump which I completely fell in love with! [I'll highlight the features of this awesome break cue in a separate post.]
The point is, I was able to find some Tiger products that I truly believe in and the break/jump cue only compliments my CB Cue. I’m now a believer.
So, all this basically means is that I have a cute little bio page on the Tiger site and you’ll be seein’ me around town sportin’ my Tiger patch. This also means that I’m now a Tiger dealer, so if you or anyone you know is interested in trying out the vast line of Tiger products, please purchase them through me. I offer free shipping on min $100 orders and every dollar you spend helps me get to my next tournament. Thanks for your support!

Congrats.
Congrats on the new sponsor!
Nice photo on the bio page.
Hi Samm,
Just wanted to say congrats on getting the Tiger sponsorship. Not to knock Tiger products at all (fine stuff) but I think they’re getting the better end of the deal. You’re a player, a likable individual, comfortable with media, have a strong following and a commitment to the game. What more could any sponsor want? Hmm, maybe I should email Tiger and congratulate them!
