A couple months ago, I decided to pay a visit to my good friend Fast Mikie for his birthday this weekend. So, here I am!
I arrived Thursday morning in beautiful San Diego and was warmly greeted by the FM himself. Most of Thursday was spending doing none other than shooting pool (of course), relaxing, and I even got to go to the beach.
My bags just barely fit in the trunk of his car.
After a nice lunch, the FM took me to the beautiful Yogananda Hermitage and Meditation Gardens. OMG! It was stunning!
It was there that I saw the most enormous, fattest Koi fish that my eyes could imagine! What were they feeding these things?!?? Neighborhood children???
We returned to the Fun House for more adventures and what else? More pool, of course.
Afterwards, I made my way down to the beach and took the loooooooong way back. I definitely got my exercise for the day but it was well worth it.
The Fun House is where you never have to grow up. It’s like all those things you dreamed of your bedroom being like when you were a kid (when could only afford the glow-in-the-dark stars on your ceiling) all wrapped up into a gorgeous ocean-side fun house, as an adult. Words can not even do it justice.
I would invite you to come visit for yourself, but I learned that it’s quite a rarity that guests stay here. He doesn’t even have a guest room for that reason. I can understand why. If I had more space than the leather couch bed, refugee camp corner for my clothes, and private bathroom 
, I would never leave this place!
Anyway, I’m so honored to be staying here and look forward to the rest of our fun & pool filled time together!
