Productive, but Mediocre
I spent the first half of my day in the office. I got a ton of stuff done, including bungling a press release and making about 50 phone calls.
Afterwards, I played some mediocre tennis, which wasn’t quite good enough to beat Charlie and tonight, I played some mediocre pool with some glimpses of greatness.
With everything on my plate, who knows if I’ll be ready for this weekend. I just want to be able to perform at my best. Sometimes I feel that all the other things are complimenting my life and making me appreciate pool more. It may be, but it’s still tough to stay in stroke. I feel like it takes me longer to get warmed than it used to.
I don’t know. We’ll see what happens…
Also! My first “by line” can be found in this month’s July/August 2008 issue of InsidePool and there’s a big fat typo! Tyler Edey’s title should read “Edey Takes Home the First Trophy” not whatever goofy thing I must’ve sent in while I was still in Vegas. My brain was pretty fried at the time.
Anyway, you can download the latest issue online free just for signing up on their website.
