Happy Thanksgiving!
Busy day beginning tomorrow…
Mike is helping a friend with some pool table work so I’m tagging along for that. Then we’re teaching a lesson together and heading to Rockford for a scotch doubles tournament tomorrow night. I’m very excited to play in our first scotch tournament together.
It’ll be a good warm up for the Grand Casino tournament in Hinckley this weekend. The ghetto high school I graduated from was called Hinkley so I’ve already botched that spelling a few times.
Hope everyone had a great day and got plenty to eat.
We were invited to a friend’s for dinner tonight and found ourselves glued to my new favorite game, Guitar Hero. I think I could be really good at it if I had a chance to practice it. Mike and I were doin’ a pretty sporty job of playing scotch. I controlled the left hand while he strummed along to the beat.
There are so many things I have to be thankful for. I’m sure we all do. If you haven’t already today, let’s take a moment to reflect on those things.
